“I think I’d start with the cookie and then demolish the lot in very little time.”

One keen chocolate lover made sure to tag her pal and let her know she has her eyes on it.

She said: “If this doesn’t make it to my Xmas stocking I’ll be very upset…..We need a trip!”

The hamper is available in stores for £10 and includes some Galaxy favourites: Minstrels, double chocolate chunk cookies, hot chocolate sachets, Ripple bars and two large original chocolate bars.

While we couldn’t find the exact hamper to view on the website, but we did find a similar one for £5.

It’s slightly different as it looks as though it has just two hot chocolate sachets and only one large bar of chocolate.

Some Instagram users were unhappy with the price of the larger hamper and said they could buy the items individually for less.

One said: “£10 are you taking the p**s?!?!?!

“That is NEVER worth a tenner!”

Another wrote: “Can make your own for cheaper & get more! Rethink you prices b&m.”

Others echoed their thoughts: “You can buy all of that and more (in multipacks) from b&m for less.”

From looking at the B&M website The Sun found multipacks for the same Galaxy products in the hamper which would cost around the same amount but you’d get more for your money.

We found a three pack of Ripples for £1.25, a larger bag of Minstrels for £1.35, a seven pack of hot chocolate sachets for £1 and large 360g Smooth Milk bars for £2.99 each.

We couldn’t find the cookies online but did find them in Tesco for £1.50.

Added all together you could make your own hamper for £11.08 with far more bang for your buck.

As food prices and energy costs continue to sore, it’s important shop around for the best deals – especially as Christmas approaches.

You can find your nearest B&M store using its handy locator tool on its website.

Meanwhile, as temperatures dip they’re getting prepared by finding bargain cosy throws ready for winter.
