One savvy shopper shared her garden haul to the Gardening Hints and Tips Facebook group and other green-fingered bargain hunters were quick to comment.

Posting a picture of the pretty potted plants she said: “Bargain of the day B&M in East Yorkshire selling off summer plants.

“I just bought a hanging basket for £1 and these 10p each (had been £3) they will fill a few gaps.

One other savvy shopper commented: “That’s brill, I bought them for £3 today.”

And another added: “Well done, love a bargain.”

While another commented: “Great buy.”

This particular offer was from a B&M store in East Yorkshire and may not be the same in all stores.
