BUDGET retailer B&M has slashed the price of some electrical items by up to half – but only for a limited time.

The popular chain is calling the sale the Electrical Mega Event, and big brands like Bosch and Flymo are included.

In total, there are nine electrical goodies up for grabs in the event which was launched April 12 and is due to end May 2.

The products on offer range from household appliances such as air fryers and vacuum cleaners, to garden electricals like lawnmowers.

You won’t be able to nab these deals online though, as the sale is in-store only.

Shoppers generally can’t order online from B&M, with the exception of garden building purchases, so keep that in mind before browsing.

You can find your nearest branch using the B&M store locator.

Before making a trip, it’s worth checking whether your local branch stocks the item you’re after, as each sale product is subject to availability.

You can do this by finding the store phone number using the branch locator and giving them a quick call.

What’s in the sale?

The Tower Compact air fryer (2L) is priced at £25 down from £50, meaning budding chefs can save half on the usual price.

The kitchen appliance comes with seven features including a 30-minute timer and an automatic shut-off setting.

Air fryers are deemed a healthier way to prepare food, but they can also save you some pennies too.

Typically, food is cooked quicker in an air fryer than in an oven, and you don’t have to pre-heat them either, meaning you could make a small saving on your energy bill by switching to one of these gadgets.

We explain exactly how much it costs to use an air fryer instead.

A similar 2L air fryer from Aldi costs £29.99, meaning you could save almost a fiver by buying at B&M.

You should always shop around before making a purchase to make sure you’re getting the best deal available.

B&M has also slashed the price of two Flymo lawnmowers in its sale just in time for the warmer months ahead.

The Flymo Chevron 32 lawnmower with a mini trim is now £79 down from £99, saving you 20%.

And the Flymo Hover Vac 250 lawnmower is £65 down from £89, which is a saving of 26%.

Both are described as being the perfect fit for smaller gardens, and a full list of their features can be found on the website.

The other products in the sale include:

Try to avoid making a purchase purely because it is discounted, as you could go over budget doing so.
