B&M’S bank holiday sale has started early as the retailer slashes the prices of furniture items by 10%.

The sale began this morning, but you’ll have to be quick to cash in on the cheaper prices as they are only reduced until bank holiday Monday.

You’ll see the 10% off on items on the shelves at B&M so you don’t need to do anything to get the extra money-off.

This weekend marks the last summer bank holiday of the year in England, and it’s usually the time retailers will host big sales online and in stores across the country.

Unfortunately, you can’t shop this sale online at B&M but you can browse the products that are featured.

So if anything takes your fancy, you’ll have to head in store to pick up the bargains – use B&M’s store locator tool to find your closest one.

It’s not guaranteed the items will be stocked in every store but you can always ring ahead to your local one to avoid disappointment.

As always it’s best to compare prices before you commit to a purchase, as other retailers might offer a better deal.

It’s also best to keep in mind that you’re only really making a saving if you were planning on making a purchase anyway, and you shouldn’t buy anything just because it’s featured in the sale.

This isn’t the biggest discount the store has hosted either, as last month B&M reduced prices by 50% across homeware items, so sometimes it’s worth waiting for a better deal to come along.

Here are our top picks from the sale right now, but you’ll want to be quick as stock is subject to availability and likely to sell out fast now it’s been reduced.

It has a stylish gold finish with glass shelves and sits on four wheels that mean you can easily move it across your space.

You can pick up a storage trolley from Homebase for only £25 but it’s not as chic a design as the B&M version, so you could be paying £2.50 more for something plainer.

You might have to brush up on your DIY skills if you’re making a purchase though, as some self assembly is required.

Amazon has slashed the price of one of its breakfast bar sets too, but it still works out to be almost a pound more than B&M’s at £56.94.

You can get the slightly more expensive set delivered though, free of charge.

The design also features iconic “You’re My Lobster” designs and there’s also a version available with “Central Perk” to remind you of your favourite SitCom.

If you need more storage options though, you can pick up an eight pack of the canvas cubes from eBay for just under £5.

That makes each item worth 63p and better value for your storage solution needs.

Beds Divans offers a crushed velvet bed of it’s own for £1 cheaper at £89, but it’s only a single size which is smaller than B&M’s double size bed.

It does come with under bed storage though.

You’ll be able to seat four people round the dinner table which should fit neatly into your kitchen space or dining room.

If you want to save £17 you can pick up a dining set from Argos for £55 but it only has two chairs which won’t be such a bargain if you have more people to seat at the table for dinner.

It’s upholstered in velvet, featuring a scalloped back detail with gold-finish metal legs too.

Aldi is selling a velvet chair for £65, so heading to the supermarket instead of B&M could save you £25.

It was originally £130 too so you can save half the price on its own.

One B&M superfan has revealed top tips to avoid overspending at the store and how to get items cheaper elsewhere too.

But it is still a cheap option for your homeware needs as we’ve found before that the store is selling homeware dupes that cost up to 67% less than Wayfair or Dunelm.

One lad managed to bag a whole haul worth £125 for just 90p with 10p deals from the bargain store.
