But what about B&M? Here’s everything you need to know.

Is B&M open over the Easter Bank Holiday?

Open hours across B&M’s branches can vary from shop to shop, so it’s always best to use the retailer’s store locator on its website.

You just have to enter your postcode and it will tell you your closest store.

That said, we checked the opening hours across a dozen stores in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and they are all closed on Easter Sunday.

Their normal operating hours remain the same on all other days.

Most of B&M’s stores are open seven days a week, typically between 8am to 8pm from Monday to Saturday.

We checked out a few Scotland branches and it appears they will be open on Easter Sunday.

Again, it’s always worth checking ahead to see what your local’s opening hours are.

Most retailers have their own store locators that show you your nearest branch and its opening hours.

Asda

Almost all Asda stores will be shut on Easter Sunday.

However, this excludes Scottish stores, which will be open.

Opening times will vary across the UK, but for the most part both Good Friday and Easter Saturday will have opening hours between 7am and 10pm.

Stores should be open between 7am and 8pm on Easter Monday.

Lidl

Lidl will be closed on April 9, opening again on Easter Monday between 8am-8pm.

Opening times may vary across stores, so you should check with your local branch.

You can find out where that is using the store locator tool on the Lidl website.

The supermarket has confirmed branches across England and Wales will be open as normal until 10pm on Good Friday and Saturday.

If you live in Scotland, you should double check your local branch as opening times might be different.

Tesco

Tesco will be pulling the shutters down on its large stores in England, Northern Ireland and Wales on Easter Sunday, April 9.

Tesco stores in Scotland will open in line with Sunday trading hours.

It said that the majority of its Express stores will remain open on the Sunday, and all shops will return to normal trading hours on the Monday.
