BLACK Friday is over, but don’t despair if you were hoping to bag a top TV deal – there’s still plenty out there for Cyber Monday.

The £180 price drop on Samsung’s 43-inch AU8000 is one we’d highly recommend for anyone spending on a shoestring.

We’ll not pretend this is the fanciest TV on sale right now, but it’s still an excellent deal, and perfect if you want to keep a leash on your spending.

Most of the limelight this Black Friday has been hogged by Samsung’s higher-end QLEDs and Neo-QLEDs.

These top-tier tellies had lots of welcome discounts, but for Black Friday TV deals like these you’d still be spending upwards of £600, and well into the four figures potentially.

We know that not everyone out there is prepared to spend that much on a TV – but we’d always advise you buy from a well-known brand like Samsung, which is actually the biggest-selling manufacturer on the TV market.

And despite the budget-friendly status, the AU8000 is still a fine TV, with 4K picture quality that’s improved by HDR+ (high dynamic range) tech.

It’s also got an Adaptive Sound function, which means it immediately adjusts the sound quality to suit your viewing space – and it comes with built-in Alexa, meaning you can operate it minus the remote.

That’s an impressive array of features for a TV that’s currently £369 at Amazon, which is after a £150 discount.

If your budget’s a little higher, our favourite mid-range TV deal is on the Samsung 50-inch Q60 4K QLED, which is £599 at Currys.
