From a Furby to the ‘world’s most advanced’ humanoid robot, ChatGPT has already been hooked up to a range of bizarre things.
But the latest use for the AI chatbot is arguably the strangest yet, as Lovense has announced that it has integrated ChatGPT in a sex toy, dubbed the ChatGPT Pleasure Companion.
Users can divulge their sexual fantasies to the sex toy, before it uses ChatGPT to write a story.
The device then narrates the story, with vibrations synced in time.
‘The higher the intensity of the story, the stronger and faster the toy’s reaction will be,’ Lovense explained.

The system is currently in beta, and has been described as a way to ‘explore your sexuality and boundaries completely independently.’
Speaking to TechCrunch, Dan Liu, CEO of Lovense, explained: ‘Our Advanced Lovense ChatGPT Pleasure Companion now allows you to design a story you want, to embody any of your fantasies or dreams, and to fully immerse you into them.
‘With our Companion’s help, you can now create any stories and explore your sexuality and boundaries completely independently.’
To use the sex toy, users must first download the free Lovense Remote app.
There, they can divulge their ultimate sexual fantasy, with as many specifics as they’d like, whether it’s characters or locations.
Users can select from four categories – romantic, sensual, juicy or spicy.
The app then uses ChatGPT to write a story, which is read out as the sex toy vibrates in time.

ChatGPT is a large language model that has been trained on a massive amount of text data.
This allows it to generate eerily human-like text in response to a given prompt.
While the feature is still in beta, it’s caught the attention of many excited users on Twitter.
One tweeted: ‘This is the GOOD use of generative AI.’
Another added: ‘It’s more than a pleasure toy, it’s your own personal erotica author. Why dream when you can script?’
And one joked: ‘ChatGPT: it’s what all the, ahem, buzz is about.’
