The danger phrases were flagged by experts at cybersecurity company Trend Micro.

They are Amazon, Dyson, and Singtel.

You may receive legitimate emails or texts from those brands often but scammers rely on this and hope you fall for one of their imposter messages.

When it comes to the recently spotted Amazon scam, it’s a fake security notification text that you need to watch out for.

It reportedly states: “We temporarily suspended your Amazon account. To restore follow instruction below.”

A malicious link is attached to the message and victims are encouraged to click it with the threat that their Amazon account will be suspended if they don’t.

The link takes you to a very convincing-looking but bogus Amazon site that will steal your personal details including credit card information.

The best thing to do is delete the message without clicking anything.

Access your Amazon account via the standard method to check its status.

The Dyson scam is slightly different and involves a malicious email containing a fake survey.

The email promises recipients the chance to win a Dyson vacuum if they fill out a questionnaire and click  “CLAIM NOW!”

Clicking the link will take you to a scam site that will try to steal your details.

Last on the Trend Micro recent scam list is one involving smartphone network company Singtel.

The scam starts with a simple message that states: “Your package has been returned to the warehouse.”

It contains a URL that leads to a bogus Singtel online survey page that promises a chance to win gadgets but will actually steal your credit card details.

If you spot any of these scam messages, report and delete them.
