Four snacks have been scrapped to make way for new limited edition items, which only stay on the menu for six weeks.

The changes happened on Wednesday, March 16.

We explain what is out and what is now in as of this week.

What’s been scrapped?

Fans were racing to try the new Chicken Big Mac when it hit the menu on February 2.

It was so in demand McDonald’s said it had run out of the tasty treats – and removed it from the menu temporarily just 10 days after it was launched.

It cost £4.09 for just the sandwich, or £5.59 for a medium meal with chips and a drink.

Fans won’t be able to get the double Big Mac as this has also been removed.

It contained four patties instead of the usual two, and cost £4.39 for just the burger and £5.69 as part of a medium meal.

Plus, mozzarella dippers, which cost £1.89 for three and £5.09 for nine, and the Galaxy McFlurry, which cost 99p or £1.49 for a regular, has been axed too.

New limited edition menu items have hit restaurants to replace the outgoing snacks.

These include the Big Tasty, which was previously on the McDonald’s limited edition menu last summer.

It is made with 100% British and Irish beef topped with two slices of Emmental cheese, bacon, lettuce, crispy onions and lashings of Big Tasty BBQ sauce.

The original Big Tasty burger costs £6.39 for a medium meal and a single burger costs £4.89.

If you want it with bacon, it will cost £6.89 for a medium meal or £5.39 for a single burger.

You’ll also be able to find the Crispy Chicken burger on the new menu.

It includes a crispy chicken breast fillet topped with a hot and spicy mayo, caramelised onion, seasonal lettuce, bacon, red onions, a slice of cheddar cheese and poppy and sesame seed bun.

You can bag the burger for £4.39.

While you’re at it, you might want to try the Chilli Cheese Bites with a tomato dip, and they cost £1.99 for five pieces.

Just in time for Easter, the Creme Egg McFlurry is back.

It costs £1.39 for a regular or 99p for a mini sized one.
