A sale of more than 1,600 items belonging to beloved actress Betty White brought in more than $4 million over the weekend, surpassing auctioneers’ expectations.

Julien’s Auctions, the Beverly Hills, Calif.-based auction house that organized the estate sale, anticipated it would garner between $400,000 to $600,000, based on conservative estimates.
