First female speaker of the House of Commons was ‘one of a kind’, says Sir Lindsay Hoyle

Betty Boothroyd, the first woman to be speaker of the House of Commons, has died, age 93, according to the current speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle, who said she was “one of a kind”.
