One user said: “Best stuff I’ve ever used!”

Another said: “This is amazing.”

“I use this in my bathroom. Works well!” said a third user.

Someone else said: “Absolutely swear by this !!! Zero effort required. Amazing product.”

You’ll find the Killrock spray in B&M for £1.50, though you may have to head into a few stores to find it.

Bear in mind prices may vary from store to store.

If you can’t find the spray in B&M you can check out Ocado

The online retailer has the spray on a deal for £2.50 instead of £3.50.

This doesn’t account for delivery charges so it might be cheaper to include this bottle with a weekly shop.

If you can’t get your hands on this spray there are a few others on the market that might be worth a try.

B&M is selling the Astonish Mould & Mildew Blaster for £1.19 which claims to effectively remove mould & mildew in minutes, killing 99.9% of bacteria.

B&M is also selling the Ronseal 3-in-1 mould killer but is a bit pricier at £6.99.

How can I save money at B&M?

The B&M barcode scanner app allows you to discover discounted items before the staff have even reduced them.

The scanner is located on the B&M Stores mobile app, which can be downloaded for free on your smartphone.

Shoppers can download it on the App Store or Google Play.

Once you’ve downloaded the app you can use the “scan” feature to scan barcodes on any item in the store to see if an item has been reduced.

Bargain hunters say some items come up as £1, 50p or even 10p through the app.

Shoppers should also keep an eye out for products with a white reduction sticker on.

This means they will have a certain amount slashed off the price shown on the label.

It’s cheaper to shop for products at the end of the season.

Get friendly with staff too, they’ll be able to tell you when the sales will hit, or if there are bargains out the back – so you get the best bits.

Cheaper ways to tackle the problem

Mould is often caused by excess moisture in a contained area so there are things you can do to stop it from forming.

One of the easiest ways to avoid getting mould is to open your windows every day to let fresh air in and keep doors between rooms open.

Ensuring that air continuously circulates through your home will reduce condensation so the mould cannot grow.

You should also open cupboard doors regularly to allow fresh air in to make sure there’s no mould growing inside.

Other things that can help include not leaving your clothes to dry on radiators, and always cooking with ventilation.
