IT’S April Fool’s Day, meaning lots of brands are out to trick us.

We’ve rounded up some of the best geeky April Fools of 2021 including a rather wild one about Stonehenge moving back to Wales.

Stonehenge moving

A report in the Salisbury Journal has claimed that Stonehenge is moving to Wales.

Archaeologists think the stones that make up the monument came from a site in the Welsh Preseli Hills but it’s very unlikely they’d ever be moved back there.

The article claims a group called Friends Observing Outstanding and Lovely Stones (FOOLS) has been calling for the 5,000 year old structure to be moved.

That’s a big clue that this is fake news.

Ordnance Survey took to Instagram to claim Britain has a new island.

It said: “The Scottish island was lost to the sea centuries ago, but has recently risen out of the waves and was spotted by our Flying Unit.”

Lots of people have commented to say they know it’s a prank.

Online gambling company OnlineGambling.ca is spreading the news that there’s a product called Anti-Gaming Spray.

The fake product is aimed at people who are tired of their partners playing video games and supposedly makes them stop if your spray their consoles.

It even has an impressive fake website.

This tweet from the National Trust claims that an amazing banana bread discovery has been made at Chedworth Roman Villa.

A jokey video tries to fool people into thinking the first ever recipe for banana bread has been discovered and even features a rather new looking banana mosaic.

In other news, Instagram has warned users to watch out for scammers contacting them via direct message and pretending to be from the company.

The next iPhone will revive a beloved feature and sport a brand new look.

And, Samsung has launched a “try before you buy” scheme for its most expensive mobiles to date.
