Today is the start of the Black Friday, and sales usually end on November 29 with Cyber Monday.

It’s usually considered to be one of the biggest shopping events of the year, with customers waiting for the sales to get all their Christmas shopping for less.

Shoppers are expected to splurge £9.4billion on tech, toys and more in this year’s event as bargain hunters search for the best deals.

We round up what takeaway deals are on offer over the Black Friday weekend so you can treat yourself without breaking the bank.

Pizza Hut

Feeling hungry? If you’re looking to get in a lot of food, you might want to check out Pizza Hut’s Black Friday deal.

You can get 50% off on all pizzas and sides when you spend £25 or more.

It means you can get £25 worth of grub for just £12.50.

To get the deal, head to the Pizza Hut website or use the app.

If you’re ordering through the website, head to the deals tab which is located along the top of the page.

Then click on the 50% off pizzas offer, which will automatically apply the discount when you are making your order.

You can try the festive Hog Roast pizza if you’re feeling festive, which costs £20.99 – although prices may vary from branch to branch – and couple it with Hot ‘n’ Spicy Chicken Strips for £5.99 to get it for £16.48 instead of £26.98.

If you want to order through the app, you can download it onto your phone via Google Play or the App Store.

Head to the deals section of the app, click on the same offer, and order your grub.

When The Sun checked delivery prices using a central London postcode, you could get your pizza delivered to your door for £1 – although this price could vary depending on where you’re ordering from.

Just Eat

If you’re undecided on what type of food you fancy for tea and want to browse your options, you might want to head to Just Eat.

There thousands of restaurants to choose from listed on its website, including big brands like McDonald’s, Greggs and Burger King.

It’s offering customers 25% off their order on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

To get the deal, you have to spend £20 or more on your order.

On Just Eat’s website, enter your postcode and head to the Black Friday tab where all the food deals available are listed.

Click on the restaurant or chain you want to order from, order your meal and the discount will be applied automatically at the checkout.

If you’re ordering on the app, it’s the same process – head to Black Friday deals, order your grub and the discount will apply.

Make sure to factor in the cost of delivery, which will vary depending on which restaurant you’re ordering from.

When we checked out the deal, we managed to get £20 worth of Greggs grub for just £15 – but delivery cost us 99p.

Deliveroo

You can bring in the weekend for less at Deliveroo as well, as it is offering a rival deal to Just Eat with 25% off orders over £20.

However, the last day of the deal is tomorrow – it has been running since Monday – so make sure to act fast before you miss out.

Restaurants included in the deal include Prezzo, Tortilla, Coco di Mama, Frankie & Bennys, Bella Italia and Krispy Kreme.

However, what is available to order depends on where you live – make sure to order from restaurants which have the Black Friday menu tag on them.

Head to the Deliveroo website, pop your postcode in and head to the Black Friday offer section.

The discount will be automatically applied when you get to the checkout – and the cost of delivery will vary depending on which restaurant you’re ordering from.

You can download the Deliveroo app for free via Google Play or the App Store, or you can order through its website.

Domino’s

If you’re a Domino’s fan, good news – the chain has a Black Friday deal on until Tuesday, November 30.

You can get 35% off orders, but there’s a catch – you have to spend £40 or more.

To get the deal, head to the vouchers tab on Domino’s website, where you’ll see the offer.

Either click on the offer – which will automatically apply the discount to your order – or copy the voucher code for the deal, which is FILHFPEE.

When we tried out the deal online – we added Domino’s Festive pizza and the Pepperoni Passion to our order – we saved £14.34, meaning it cost us £26.64 instead of £40.98.

Papa John’s

Battling it out against Pizza Hut, Papa John’s is also offering customers 50% off orders when you spend £25 or more.

You’ll get free delivery when you spend over £10.99 on orders – meaning you won’t have to spend anything on getting it sent to your home.

To get the deal, go to Papa John’s website and click on the Black Friday deal on its homepage – which will automatically add the discount to your order.

Or, you can put the code 50PC25 in when you get to the checkout.

When we checked out the offer, we ordered a Double Pepperoni pizza for £20.99 – although prices could vary from branch to branch – and potato tots with four cheeses for £5.99.

Instead of paying £26.98, we got £10.50 off our order – which came to £16.48.

We also round up Black Friday booze deals you can make the most of at Asda, Sainsbury’s and Tesco.

However, beware of paying extra this Black Friday as nine in 10 Black Friday deals are cheaper or the same price before the sales, Which? said.
