THIS beautifully-furnished bedroom has an unusual addition that may cause a stink.

The house for sale in Galesburg, Michigan, USA, has a toilet in the master bedroom, catching the attention of baffled prospective buyers after it was listed last week.

The quaint house is on the market for £166,000 and has three bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room and even a little outhouse.

And its unique take on an “ensuite” is best for couples who aren’t too bothered about their privacy.

The bathtub and shower is just metres away from the plush bed covers, meaning potential buyers won’t have far to walk to get clean.

It claims to have “2.5” bathrooms, and thankfully, the two others have walls enclosed around them.

The house has a well-kept exterior, it comes with half an acre of land and has a large front porch, according to the estate agent.

And the rooms inside are equally as impressive – it has a swanky interior with a modern kitchen and granite counter tops, wood flooring, and lots of big windows.

And despite its grand sleigh bed, the unique feature in the master bedroom has got the internet poking fun at the listing.

Five Star Real Estate has listed the house on Estately but haven’t mentioned the bedroom and bathroom mixed room in their description.

Posting on Reddit, a user captioned the photo: “Got to love an ensuite bathroom!”

A humoured viewer replied to the images with a simple comment: “There’s clearly room for a wall.”

The listing also states: “Bathrooms all beautiful and fully upgraded!” with one browser joking “I guess that’s one way to upgrade your bathroom..”

Noting that the builder had bothered to tile the bathroom area without building a wall, another Redditor said: “I mean… at least the carpet doesn’t go all the way up to the toilet?”

One added: “Couldn’t they even put a screen in front of the toilet?”

Horrified, another said: “Even if I lived by myself and wasn’t concerned about privacy or modesty, I STILL don’t want the toilet in the middle of the bedroom.”

“That’ll kill the romance,” another viewer joked.

But in the UK, other properties have left potential buyers sniggering at the listings after they too found toilets and beds in too close proximity, such as one semi-detached cottage in Suffolk.

And others have been after finding flats for rent without any toilet at all on the property.

One London flat was available to rent for just under £800 a month and the tiny property in affluent Notting Hill is billed as “well equipped”, but while the studio offers a shower – there’s no toilet to be found.

And an adorable Welsh property sandwiched between the splendour of Snowdonia and the unspoilt beauty of Llyn Peninsula was on sale for jsut £35,000.

But it had a hidden toilet in the shed, no shower or bath, and no indoor toilet.
