Sharp says he has asked nominations committee for review amid claims he helped Boris Johnson secure loan, BBC reports

The BBC chair, Richard Sharp, has said he has asked the nominations committee of the BBC board to review any potential conflicts of interest amid claims he helped Boris Johnson secure a loan, the broadcaster reported.

In a statement Sharp said he wanted to ensure “all the appropriate guidelines have been followed”.
