Bath & Body Works Inc. said Andrew Meslow would step down from his posts as chief executive and board member in May, citing health reasons.

Sarah Nash, the company’s board chairwoman, will serve as interim CEO when Mr. Meslow departs, which is scheduled for May 12, the company said. The retailer, formerly known as L Brands Inc., plans to begin a search for a permanent replacement.
