A BARGAIN supermarket with over 800 locations is set to abruptly shut another store next week after a string of closures.
Iceland has brought forward plans to close one of its supermarkets within days and another three will shut for good next month.

The frozen food specialist has closed more than half a dozen stores this year.
Iceland will now close its supermarket in The Bridge Centre, Fratton in Portsmouth on Saturday, August 26.
It comes as shoppers recently spotted signs in the store which read: “Sorry! This store is permanently closing from 4pm on Saturday 26th August.
“Your nearest stores are Portsmouth, Southsea and North End. Or visit iceland.co.uk.”
The store was originally meant to close in October, but plans to bring the shutters down for good have been brought forward.
This closure will be followed by its Llanelli store, which will open for the final time on Saturday, September 2.
The chain’s supermarket in the Market Shopping Centre in Crewe and its branch in Grange Road, Birkenhead will then close for the last time on Saturday, September 16.
It follows the closures of 13 Iceland supermarkets earlier this year.

It means that by September the total number of Iceland closures this year will hit 16.
But Iceland has opened a new store in Slough and two new shops under the Food Warehouse brand in Kendal and Aberdeen in recent weeks.
An Iceland spokesperson previously told The Sun: “Across Iceland and The Food Warehouse we have a portfolio of over UK 1,000 stores, and our retail estate has grown by nearly 200 stores over the last ten years.
“We typically open more than 20 new stores each year, creating many new jobs and contributing to the growth of local economies.
“At the same time, we continually review the retail experience offered to our customers and have always made a small number of store closures every year, as local shopping patterns change and shop leases expire.”
Retailers have been feeling the pinch since the pandemic while shoppers are cutting back on spending due to soaring inflation.
High energy costs and a shift to shopping online after the pandemic are also taking a toll and many high street shops have struggled to keep going.
Budget retailer Wilko has entered administration after failing to secure a rescue deal, putting around 12,500 jobs in jeopardy.
But hope remains for the beloved high street chain Wilko after administrators revealed that they are considering several rescue bids.
But some high street stores have plans to expand including Poundland.
