SHOPPERS are racing to the bargain supermarket to snap up the Lion bar dupe which is “better than the original”.
The popular chocolate bar copycat is scanning at Aldi for just a fraction of the price.

Lion bar fans are thrilled to find out that they can swap their favourite treat for a lesser-known imitation to save up some money.
If you have a sweet tooth but want to stay on the budget, then Aldi’s version of the chocolate could spare your wallet while satisfying your cravings.
A pack of 13 bars is selling at the bargain retailer for only £1.15 – less than 8p per chocolate.
The treat – named Roar to reference the original – offers the same deliciousness with caramel wafer and wheat crisp covered in milk chocolate.

The sweet treat was discovered by an eagle-eyed shopper who posted it on a Facebook group with the caption: “First time seeing these, actually not too bad! Considering I’m a big chocolate eater!”
Fans have flocked to the comments to express their excitement over the cheap copycat.
One person said: “Think there are better than the real ones.”
Another one added: “My family’s favourites along with the jive bars.”

The price drop will start on April 29 until 5 May and the deal allows customers to buy two bottles per transaction for the bargain price.
