Anthony Albanese reported to be latest western leader to have gone to Ukraine, visiting Bucha, Hostomel and Irpin
Australia’s prime minister, Anthony Albanese, has visited the sites of some of the most infamous atrocities of Russia’s war against Ukraine during the final leg of a European tour.
Albanese was reported to have visited Bucha, Hostomel and Irpin, three towns in the Kyiv region, which became synonymous with the shocking brutality of Vladimir Putin’s invasion, after evidence of mass killings and torture was uncovered following the withdrawal of Russian forces.
