ASSASSIN’S Creed Mirage is edging ever closer to its release and fans are getting excited.

A recent interview with lead producer Fabian Solomon revealed some interesting details about the game.

In an exclusive interview with French YouTuber Julien Chièze, Solomon talked at length about the process of making Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

One of the more shocking details about the interview was just how long the upcoming game will be.

The last game in the series, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, is known for its bloated length.

Its main story took players an average of 60 hours to complete, while 100% completion was a whopping 150 hours.

However, it seems that Mirage will be a far more streamlined experience, and vastly shorter.

The original interview was conducted in French, so GLHF has translated Solomon’s response.

When asked about the length of Mirage Solomon says: “We’ve done a lot of playtesting as a large part of the process of making the game.

“According to our latest data we have found that the majority of players spent around 23 or 24 hours playing on average or something like that.

“We expect players to take about 25 to 30 hours if they are a completionist.”

While Solomon claims that the game’s length is based on playtesting and data, it doesn’t mean that the predicted playtime is to be taken as fact.

Previous to Valhalla, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was also slammed for its bloated length.

Following criticism, Ubisoft confirmed that Valhalla would be a tighter experience, but it ended up being even longer than Odyssey.

We’ll have to wait to find out the true length when Assassin’s Creed Mirage is released on October 12, 2023.
