It’s been slashed from £99 to £69 – so customers are getting a 30% discount – and it comes with a two-year warranty.

The appliance has a 4.8 out of 5 star rating on Asda’s website and customers have been full of praise.

One happy shopper said: “Brilliant air fryer for (the) money.”

A second fan said: “Amazing buy, better than my fan oven, even cheaper to use and quicker.

“The rotisserie feature is a dream.”

Meanwhile, a third person added: “Excellent value for money, really pleased.”

But the fryer has proved so popular it’s currently out of stock on Asda’s website.

You might be able to find it in your nearest Asda store though.

If you don’t know where your nearest one is, you can use the supermarket’s store locator.

Just type “Asda store locator” into Google and it should be the first link to click.

You just have to enter your postcode or hometown and it will tell you where your nearest branch is.

Of course, it’s always worth shopping around when buying something like an air fryer.

There’s so many on the market it’s worth seeing if you can get a better deal elsewhere.

Usually, your best bet is using the “shopping” tab on Google’s website which shows you products on sale across different retailers.

Or, if you’re set on going to one specific retailer, you can try their website.

Most websites have filters where you can sort the products by lowest to highest price, if you are looking to purchase on a budget.

We looked online to see if any other retailers are selling the Scoville 11 litre air fryer for less than Asda, but there aren’t any.

Robert Dyas is selling a 12 litre Daewoo fryer with rotisserie feature for £89.99.

Meanwhile, B&Q has a 12 litre Emtronics digital fryer for £74.99.

Are air fryers cheaper than ovens?

Air fryers are all the rage as households look to cut back on their energy bills, but they don’t always save you as much as you’d think.

The cost of running an appliance is based on its wattage.

In the case of Asda’s Scoville fryer, which is 2000watts, that would cost you roughly 68p to run per hour.

That’s based on the current price of one kilowatt (1000watts) of energy costing 34p.

So if you had a two kilowatt oven you’d be spending the same amount as the oven for every hour of use.

Bear in mind though, one might cook your food quicker than the other, meaning it costs you less.

If you want to work out how much an appliance costs to run per hour, you can use a simple formula:

Cost = power (in kWh) × time (in hours) × price of 1 kilowatt on your energy tariff.

So, if for example you have an air fryer that consumes 2,000 watts, you are using it for one hour and the cost of electricity is priced at 34p per 1,000 watts, the formula would be:

2 x 1 x 34p = 68p

If you used it for two hours, the formula would be:

2 x 2 x 34p = 136p (£1.36)
