And the Fairtrade milk chocolate oval is blended with sea salt and caramel, which is bound to leave fans of the classic flavour buzzing.

The Newfoodsuk Facebook group recently shared a photo of the snack on sale at an Asda store, with hundreds liking and commenting on the post since.

One shopper, tagging their partner, said: “Life is made for the both of us.”

A fourth, tagging a friend, said: “Sorry, but I have to show you this!”

And a fifth simply added: “Ohhhh wow.”

Anyone looking to snap one of the Easter eggs up won’t be able to get it online for now.

Meanwhile, it’s not clear how many stores the 242g treat is available at, but we have asked Asda for more information and will update this story when we have heard back.

We’ve also asked the retailer how much it costs and its calorie content.

You can find your nearest Asda branch by using the store locator tool on its website.

Of course, you should always remember to shop around when buying something like this by using price comparison sites such as Trolley.

You can also do a quick scan on the Google Shopping tab where you can cross-check prices on products.

However, the only retailer that we could find selling the Tony’s Chocolonely salted caramel egg was eBay. It is selling it for £13.74.

It comes after chocolate lovers were racing to their local Asda stores to pick up a M&M egg with M&M minis inside.

One fan branded the product “lush” while another said it was “yummy”.

Meanwhile, Cadbury fans are thrilled after learning it has brought back a popular creme egg flavour first introduced at the back end of 2022.

The white chocolate variations have been spotted in Asda stores, with one fan declaring: “A white creme egg? What is this delicious sorcery.”

Two others branded the chocolate treat “life changing” and a “game changer”.

A number of supermarkets have kicked off with stocking Easter produce too after clearing all their Christmas stock.

Aldi customers were going wild for new Easter chocolates that are a dupe of what’s already been available at M&S.

And Tesco shoppers have also been enjoying a “luscious” twist on a traditional hot cross bun.
