SHOPPERS are racing to Asda to get their hands on essential homeware that is scanning for as little as 90p at the tills.
Asda’s George Home Sparkle Gin Glasses were originally priced at £10 but now shoppers have realised they are going for just 90p.
The two packs of glittery gin glasses have been spotted in stores and shoppers claim to have bought them for 45p each.
The bargain was shared in the Extreme Couponing And Bargains UK Facebook group.
One happy shopper said: “Nice start on Xmas gifts pair of glasses down to 90p,
The shopper said she also managed to find another less sparkly: “single gin glass [for] 30p.”

One user said: “Wow love these.”
“I want these glasses,” claimed another.
Several shoppers said they had already bought the gin glasses but when the item was still for the full price at £10.

“Glad I didn’t buy the, two weeks ago would have been gutted,” said someone else.
Shoppers should note the glasses should be handled with care and washed by hand only.
The glasses are still listed as £10 online so you will need to head into stores if you want the deal.
By comparison, the in-store deal is a massive saving as most glassware sets on Asda’s website start from a minimum of £8.
If you’re interested in other reduced kitchenware it might be worth heading to Asda stores as many items are currently in the Asda sale.

Several other retailers like Dunelm, Argos and B&M have also announced January and New Year sales in an attempt to get rid of Christmas stock.
The sales often cover homeware, furnishings and electronics.
Asda is currently selling tea, sugar and coffee canisters sets for £1.
Or if you need a new pot and pan set the retailer is selling a blue and white aluminium five-piece set for £37.50 down from £60.
The brown Acaia wooden chopping board is now £3.50 instead of £6 if you’re looking to do more cooking this year.
How to save money in Asda
All Asda staff carry a book of Asda smiley vouchers, which can be given out to customers at their discretion.
Each voucher has a face value of 50p and can be used to get money off your shop.
Grab items from Asda’s Just Essentials range, these can be identified through bright yellow packaging and offer great value on household essentials.
Don’t forget the famous Asda “reduced” stickers.
Chilled things start getting reduced in the morning with final reductions on items such as bread and cakes starting around 6:30 pm.
