Shoppers have clocked you can get Terry’s Chocolate Orange balls for half price in Asda stores if you shop with the Asda loyalty app.

The usual retail price for these in Asda is £1.50 per box.

But you can nab the Terry’s Chocolate Mint Milk chocolate ball for 75p or the Terry’s Chocolate Exploding Candy ball for 75p under Asda’s cashpot deals.

One shopper flocked to Facebook to share the deal she had spotted on her Asda app.

In the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, she said: “£1.50 but get 75p in cash pot so work out at 75p each, at Sainsbury ATM they are £2 each.”

One user said: “Popping candy is the best!

“The mint one is lush,” claimed a third.

In most stores, a Terry’s Chocolate Orange box would set you back around £1.50.

Waitrose, Ocado and Iceland all have the standard Terry’s Chocolate Orange Milk 157g boxes for £1.50.

Sainsbury’s is selling the boxes for a staggering £1.95 each while, Tesco has them marginally cheaper at £1.49.

But none of the other offers come close to the Asda cash pot deal.

Less traditional Terry’s Chocolate Orange flavours are much harder to get hold of and you can expect to pay a bit more for them.

If you are looking to nab this deal you will need to be quick as shoppers say the deal will only be available on the Asda app today November 15.

How does the Asda loyalty scheme work?

Asda Rewards allows shoppers to build up “Asda Pounds” when shopping in-store or online and completing certain tasks.

These Pounds go into a “Cashpot” which you then convert into vouchers to get money off future purchases.

You can also get a 10% boost on your Pounds when buying “Star” products which are updated on the app regularly.

You can download the loyalty app onto your smartphone for free by using Google Play or the App Store.

You have to scan the app at the till every time you do a shop and the Pounds are added to your account.

If you like rare Terry’s Chocolate Orange flavours you will be pleased to hear new Terry’s Chocolate Orange snowballs bars have been spotted in stores.

Most supermarkets have the 90g snowball milk bars for £1 each.

We’ve scoured the shelves to find the cheapest Cadbury chocolate selection boxes and Maltesers chocolate selection boxes.

In other news, Aldi shoppers are rushing to buy “lush” new Toblerone dupe chocolate bar spotted on shop shelves.

Nestle has confirmed it is discontinuing another iconic chocolate bar after 60 years leaving fans feeling “heartbroken”.

B&M shoppers are going wild for “delicious” hot chocolate based on iconic flavour.
