ASDA is recalling pasta ready meals for kids over fears they contain pieces of blue rubber.
The presence of rubber is a choking hazard for young children, meaning the products are unsafe to eat.

The product recall applies to the Asda Little Kids Pasta Bolognese as well as the Asda Little Kids Spaghetti Bolognese.
The affected pasta bolognese packs weigh 150g each and come with a use by date of March 4 or March 5, 2021. They cost £1.40 each.
While 300g packs of the spaghetti bolognese are affected by the recall, and these come with a March 5 use by date and cost £2.20 each.
The recall has been issued this week, despite the products already having passed their use by dates.

PRODUCT recalls are an important means of protecting consumers from dangerous goods.
As a general rule, if a recall involves a branded product, the manufacturer would usually have lead responsibility for the recall action.
But it’s often left up to supermarkets to notify customers when products could put them at risk.
If you are concerned about the safety of a product you own, always check the manufacturer’s website to see if a safety notice has been issued.
When it comes to appliances, rather than just food items, the onus is usually on you – the customer – to register the appliance with the manufacturer as if you don’t there is no way of contacting you to tell you about a fault.
If you become aware that an item you own has been recalled or has any safety noticed issued against it, make sure you follow the instructions given to you by the manufacturer.
They should usually provide you with more information and a contact number on its safety notice.
In some cases, the manufacturer might ask you to return the item for a full refund or arrange for the faulty product to be collected.
You should not be charged for any recall work – such as a repair, replacement or collection of the recalled item.
It’s because the products are suitable for home freezing, meaning shoppers may have the items in their freezer.
The packs are being recalled after some were found to contain pieces of blue rubber, said the Food Standards Agency (FSA).
If you’ve bought the products, you should avoid feeding them to your children and instead return to your nearest Asda store for a refund.
You don’t need to have your receipt to get your money back.
A spokesperson for Asda declined to share how many products are being recalled when contacted by The Sun today.
It said in a statement: “We’re very sorry for any inconvenience caused.”

Other product recalls to look out for include Danone yogurts sold at Tesco, Morrisons and Asda, which may contain pieces of metal.
While Lidl is recalling beef and pork mince over fears it contains pieces of plastic.
Tesco recently also issued a recall on packs of spicy chorizo slices over fears they could be contaminated with listeria.
