ASDA is selling a dupe of Hotel Chocolat’s £99 velvetiser so you can take your hot chocolate to the next level – and it’s £74 less.

The George Home black milk frother costs £25, and you can use it to make a fancy coffee or make your hot chocolate extra special.

  • Asda George Home black milk frother, £25 – buy now

It has two button controls and automatically switches off after you’ve heated or frothed your milk.

You can froth 150ml milk for your hot bevvies, and it’s suitable for plant-based milk as well.

The gadget has 52 reviews on Asda’s website, with fans saying it is a “great little buy” and a “brilliant piece of kitchen kit”.

If you’re planning on bagging one for yourself, make sure to factor in the cost of delivery if you’re ordering online – standard delivery costs £2.95.

If you’re planning to pop into the shops to buy it, make sure to check ahead with your local branch if it is in stock to avoid a wasted trip.

You can find where your nearest store is using Asda’s store locator tool.

It’s also 75% cheaper than Hotel Chocolat’s own £99 velvetiser – which fans have been raving about on social media.

One fan on Twitter called it the “best purchase I’ve ever made”, while another called it a “game changer”.

Although Asda’s frother looks very similar to Hotel Chocolat’s, there are a number of differences between the two.

Hotel Chocolat’s velvetiser comes in three colours – including white, copper and charcol – and you can adjust the handle depending on whether you pour left or right handed.

Asda and Hotel Chocolat are not the only retailers selling a hot drinks frother.

Amazon is selling one for £30, which although is £5 more expensive than Asda’s, is still cheaper than Hotel Chocolat’s.

Argos is also selling one for £32.99 – which is £66 cheaper.

However, before you splash out, remember to compare prices online.

You might find that the same – or similar – item is being sold elsewhere.

The cheapest supermarket has been revealed – and it’s not Lidl, Tesco or Asda.
