FANS of fizz can get a bottle of Prosecco for less than £5 at Asda this Valentine’s Day.
The supermarket is rolling back the price of bottles of Prosecco Extra Dry to £4.97

The 75cl bottle of bubbles usually costs £6, so shoppers will save £1.03 through the deal.
Asda will sell the cut-price Prosecco until February 14, which means you have time to pick a bottle up for Valentine’s Day.
However, you can find cheaper bottles of plonk elsewhere by shopping around.
Lidl comes in cheapest at £4.95 for a 75cl bottle, while Aldi’s is also only £4.95, but usually priced at £5.99.

Tesco comes in second cheapest at £4.99 a bottle. Morrisons, Sainsburys and Waitrose sit in the middle with prices and offers between £6 and £6.99 for a bottle.
Although Prosecco and Champagne are both sparkling wines, there is a difference between the two.
Champagne is produced in the Champagne region of northeast France, while Prosecco comes from the Veneto region of Italy.
Champagne is typically more expensive, with the cheapest 75cl bottle costing £9.97 from Asda.
Some supermarkets are also selling bubbly as part of their Valentine’s Day meal deals.
Tesco are including their Finest Prosecco, which is usually £10, in their £15 Valentine’s dine in offer.
The deal includes one starter, main, side, vegetable, dessert and drink.
Sainsbury’s and M&S also offering their fizz as part of the meal deals, which are priced at £20 each.
Asda has around 600 stores across the UK.
