ARGOS’ toy sale is now live and features a massive range of toys, games and goodies with major savings in tow.

You’ll be able to save up to 50% off some top name brands too, including Barbie and Playmobil, plus hundreds more.

There are hundreds of toys reduced in the sale

There are over 400 products in the sale, so there’s sure to be something perfect for each and every little one you need to buy for this Christmas.

The smallest discounts start from 25% off so you’re guaranteed to shave at least a quarter off the price of the goods during the limited offer run.

You can get the deals in stores and online, but splashing out online will mean you’ll have to fork out an extra £3.95.

There’s also the opportunity to use Argos’ free click and collect service, and you can find your nearest store using the locator tool before you head out.

But remember stock will be subject to availability and many items are likely to sell out quickly.

Don’t be suckered in by a sale sticker though – you should also shop around to see if other retailers might be offering a better bargain.

Many stores have announced the dates of their toys sales ahead of Christmas this year.

That means plenty are offering money-off right now, but it might take a bit of digging to find the toy you’re after at the right price.

Google shopping is one tool you can use compare prices and it could also flag up where the best discounts are to cash-in on too.

But also keep in mind that before Christmas rolls around, we have Black Friday, bringing with it another opportunity to splash out on toys at potentially greater reductions than are already on offer.

In the meantime, here are our top picks from the Argos sale:

In the impressive Barbie set, which Argos has slapped a massive discount on, you’ll get three dolls, furniture and accessories – including a pool that you can fill with water too.

The doll house has two storeys connected by a slim white staircase, and its four rooms include a kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom.

While the set is still quite expensive at nearly £70, it’s been reduced by a whopping 50%, and you won’t find it much cheaper elsewhere.

But you can buy Barbie sets from Aldi, of all places, for as little as £40 if you’re looking to make a saving of up to £20

Playmobil City Action Police Prison Escape

It’s also got a lockable jail cell with a furnished interior including a bunk bed and accessories, perfect for a cops and robbers roll play.

The set also includes a police bike and three figures to help stage a thrilling action scene.

While not the same set, Asda has its own Playmobil police accessories including a cop car for only £15, so you can build your collection for up to £5 cheaper than at Argos.

In Argos’ sale, Nellie the DesignaFriend doll, measures 18 inches tall and has a soft huggable body.

She comes wearing a tie dye jacket and matching skirt, pink t-shirt, pom-pom headband and silver trainers with pom-poms.

She’s also got beautiful long, pink hair and sleepy eyes that close when she lays down.

The toy also comes beautifully packaged in a boutique style gift box with DesignaFriend wrapping paper, perfect for frantic parents who don’t have the time to waste wrapping the stowed away gifts ahead of the big day.

You can only buy the DesignaFriend brand at Argos and Sainsbury’s, but if you’re in the market for a doll for your little one you could find dolls as cheap as £2.50 from The Entertainer saving you almost £16 at least.

The pogo stick has a super bounce spring and flashing lights as you bounce, giving you a cool hi-tech design.

It also has a reinforced foot rest to make sure that you can enjoy the ultimate in safety while you bounce.

You can buy the same purple Elektra pogo stick for only £22 from Toystreet though, which is a £4 hop and skip away from Argos’ reduced price.

Kids can open the mesh cockpit and place the included Captain America minifigure inside, then proceed to save the world with hours of playtime that follow.

The Lego figure is great for hands-on, imaginative play for any superhero aged seven or up.

You can pick up the exact same toy from Amazon for £6.75, so you won’t actually make a saving on the toy, but if you are a Prime member already you’ll be able to take advantage of free delivery unlike Argos.

Your children will love bouncing around the house or garden on Argos’ Paw Patrol inflatable space hopper.

It’s designed to inflate easily and quickly deflates for easy storage when you’re done.

The space hopper is also in Argos’ two for £15 deal so if you’re in the market to purchase more than one toy you could save some extra money on top of the discount.

You can buy a Little Tikes space hopper at Poundtoy for only £4.30 so if your little one fancies a bounce about, you could jump almost £2 off the price.
