ARGOS is selling an eight seater garden sofa set for £350 – and it’s up to half price less than rivals.

The spacious rattan-effect sofa could be great for big families looking for outdoor furniture on a budget ahead of the hot weather this bank holiday.

Brits are set to enjoy highs of 22C on bank holiday Monday as many workers enjoy the long weekend.

Argos’ set comes with a corner sofa, three stools and a table.

However, it might not be great in the rain – Argos says to store indoors if possible or buy a “good cover” to protect it from bad weather.

It also says to store the cushions – which come with the set – inside in wet weather.

The stools can withstand 110kg of weight, while the sofa can hold 550kg in total.

Argos is flogging the set for £350 – and The Sun has spotted its up to half price less than similar ones being sold by rivals.

Wayfair is selling an eight seater sofa set for £740 – a big price difference of £390 (53%).

However, the sofa is bigger which means there’s two stools.

While buying one from Wowcher will set you back £599, which is £249 (42%) more expensive.

Like Wayfair’s, Wowcher’s sofa is bigger so there’s two stools instead of three.

This set from Amazon – which includes two sofas, two chairs and a table – comes in at £600, an extra £250 (42%) more.

Before you splash out, make sure to compare prices online.

You could find what you’re looking for – or something similar – cheaper elsewhere.

Price comparison sites like Google Shopping, Price Spy and Idealo can help you do this.

If you’re planning on buying Argos’ £350 set, make sure you factor in the cost of delivery if you order it to your door.

For large items, standard delivery costs £6.95.

When The Sun checked using London postcodes, it looks like the set is not available to pick up from stores.

But it’s worth checking ahead with your local branch to see if they have it in store.
