IN PERFECT time for Christmas, Argos has discounted a range of bestselling toys, including Nerf and Peppa Pig, by up to 50%.

The range of discounts, which are part of the high street favourite’s Black Friday sale, include toys for every child on Santa’s nice list — whether they’re a Potterhead, petrolhead or Peppa Pig-head.

We’re astounded by the variety of toys included in the sale, as well as the discounts: toys whose price tags have been slashed in half include a Kindi Kids playset, a motorised train set from Chad Valley and a remote-controlled Bugatti Divo supercar that we’re tempted to secretly buy for ourselves.

It’s thought that Toy Trends this year are likely to largely revolve around franchises, with a number of marketable movies and TV shows coming out in the near future.

Luckily, Peppa Pig isn’t the only popular children’s franchise represented in the sale. There’s a great selection of toys from TV favourite PAW Patrol being offered — just a few months after the release of the franchise’s first feature film — as well as toys depicting iconic children’s characters Harry Potter, Thomas the Tank Engine and Super Mario.

If the child in your life is a superhero superfan, Argos also has you sorted: there’s toys from comic book heavyweights Marvel and DC, depicting Spiderman and Batman respectively.
