THEY once cost a few quid on a market stall but 90s Nirvana T-shirts are now being flogged for a small fortune.
Fashion house Saint Laurent is selling vintage smiley face band tops for £700 and a version based on the In Utero album for a staggering £2,510.
The prices cement the trend for 90s nostalgia with clothes like nylon shirts, bell-bottom jeans, platform shoes, fluffy boots and neon colours all making a comeback.
But what if you have the originals stashed away?

North Face jackets
Retro North Face coats have become a trend among retro fashion fans.
A Gore-Tex mountain jacket sells for around £50 on eBay while an Oasis style mod jacket will fetch up to £75 and a ski coat around £85.
A yellow and black puffer will cost around £200.
In the 90s the coat was an essential for teens hanging out with their mates.
Nowadays the brand has become more trendy thanks to its collaborations with streetwear houses like Supreme and Sacai.

Popper pants
You’d be forgiven for thinking the highly impractical popper pants, beloved by the Spice Girls, had been left in the 90s where they belong.
But celebrities have given them an unlikely revival – with Kim Kardashian and Rihanna recently embracing the trend.
You’ll get around £20 flogging an Adidas pair on Vinted white a Nike version is on sale on Etsy for £40.

Trouser skirts
Yes, women really did wear skirts and trousers that were attached in the 90s, nicknamed Skants.
Lisa Scott Lee of Steps was a big fan.
And not surprisingly – because most were binned – an original 90s trouser-skirt is hard to come by.
If you’ve got one, you can charge up to £163 on eBay.
Bomber jackets
Kelly McGillis kickstarted a craze for oversized bomber jackets when she donned one for the 1986 movie Top Gun – and made it look effortlessly cool.
And the ultalitarian jackets remained a style staple throughout the next decade.
Now they’re back again – and if yours is in good condition, it could make a mint.
They now sell for up to £100 on sites like eBay and Etsy.
Fila football tops
Before big names like Nike and Adidas dominated the football market, the likes of Fila, Diadora and Kappa were all the rage among footie fans.
Fila tops from the decade are making a big comeback with a number 26 West Ham shirt – the number worn by Joe Cole – selling for £119 on eBay.
A copy of a 1998 Fiorentina shirt, dedicated to iconic player Gabriel Batistuta, goes for £180 on eBay.
If you’re lucky enough to own a signed shirt from the Argentinian legend you could be looking at as much as £735.
Even Fila swim shorts are making a wave at as much as £58 a pop.
Disc belts
Low-rise, hip-hugger jeans just had to be paired with a statement belt in the 90s.
And for some reason, disc belts were all the range – think Gladiator meets Topshop.
Worn with trousers, skirts, dresses and even beach sarongs, this was a favourite lookamong celebs like Britney Spears, Victoria Beckham and Destiny’s Child.
If you clung on to one, large belts are now selling for around £50 on Etsy.
They were still around in the early 2000s and later versions go for about £20 on Vinted and Etsy.
Kappa jackets
It was the sportswear label that everyone wanted – until they didn’t.
Kappa tracksuits went from cool to naff – but thanks to celebs like Kendall Jenner and Brooklyn Beckham who are too young to remember their fall from grace, they’re having a revival.
If you had enough foresight not to chuck yours straight in the bin, it could be worth reselling.
