What can I get at the pharmacy during a bank holiday?

On a typical bank holiday, a lot of pharmacies tend to stay open, however, this isn’t the case for the September bank holiday.

Pharmacies don’t just provide prescribed medicines, and sell various other things you can buy from other shops.

Some big pharmacies have a wide range of beauty products and even stationery for example.

So if you’re looking for a last-minute present like perfume or you’ve run out of lipstick which you desperately need, then the pharmacy might be a good place to look for it.

They also sell hair products and baby products.

So if one of the shops near you is not open, you can quickly run to a pharmacy to get many of the things you might need.
