Are newspapers published and delivered on New Year’s Day?
Most daily national newspapers are published on every bank holiday including over Easter.
Publications have continued to publish their papers regardless of the bank holidays, though some still like to uphold traditions and not sell a copy.
There are some publications, such as the Financial Times, that don’t publish on selected bank holidays, including Good Friday.
They also don’t publish a paper on a Sunday.

Are newspapers delivered during the Easter Bank Holiday?
If you receive a newspaper through your letter box, you should expect your delivery as normal.
However, it may still be best to check with your local shop that delivers your paper if the bank holiday will disrupt your delivery.
You can still buy them from your local shop on the bank holiday, but it may be best to check their opening times beforehand to avoid arriving at a closed shop.
