IF you’re really bad at remembering your iPhone passcode Apple has a new trick up its sleeve to help you.
The option spares you from the nightmare of being locked out of your iPhone in some cases – not all.
Apple is putting the final touches on its latest iOS update ahead of release in September.
And early testers have noticed a new button for anyone who’s recently changed their passcode.
The firm will now allow you to enter your old passcode for a limited amount of time.
You’ll get 72 hours to use your previous passcode, reports MacRumors.
That way you can create a new one (again).
The alert reads: “This iPhone is in security lockout.
“You can regain access using your old passcode with Passcode Reset.”
It appears Apple has thought of people who are certain they don’t need their passcode and want to purge it completely.
