MILLIONS are set to receive a new upgrade that will make finding their favourite shows and movies easier.

The tech giant is set to revamp Apple TV by the end of this year as well as making changes to the iTunes Store on iPhones and iPads.

New features will include removing the iTunes movies and iTunes TV shows apps from Apple TV screens.

As reported by Bloomberg, users can currently buy films and series’ from the TV app, iTunes movies or iTunes shows.

However, in a new move to streamline the system, Apple will be encouraging watchers to chose their entertainment solely through their TV app.

iPhone and iPad users are also set to see their iTunes options cut.

There could be improvements made to the Apple TV navigation bar, with a new option to switch between movie categories.

It is understood Apple are attempting to improve the interface after users complained there were too many apps in one disorganised space.

According to Bloomberg, the new Apple TV will be available from December – meaning it will likely be included in tvOS 17.2.

And, Apple is not the only company making similar moves to improve their browsing process.
