Android owners are just noticing a hidden feature that makes sharing Wi-Fi with pals so much easier

IT’S always best to access the internet using Wi-Fi.

Not only does it prevent you wasting data – and therefore money – it tends to be quicker too.

But sharing Wi-Fi passwords with friends and family can be hassle with all those random numbers and letters.

And there’s always one mistake that delays the process even further.

Little do most Android users realise, there’s actually a super speedier way to share Wi-Fi.

And all it involves is your friend or family member scanning a QR code hidden on your phone.

Here’s how it works.

How to share Wi-Fi on Android using QR codes

Go to the Settings and select the Wi-Fi or Internet option.

Find the network you wish to share and tap the cog icon at the end of it.

Look for QR code share or simply Share.

A QR code will appear that another person can scan and gain instant access to the Wi-Fi without typing anything in.

Don’t forget to always be careful who you share your Wi-Fi with.
