Just how bad was air travel this summer? It really depended on which airline you flew.

Spirit Airlines canceled nearly 6% of its flights between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Delta canceled 0.3% of its flights over the same period. Allegiant and JetBlue got roughly four of 10 flights to the gate late. Several of their competitors had half the number of late arrivals, according to Cirium, an aviation data company.
