AMAZON has a new way to get a PlayStation 5 to customers fast.
The PlayStation 5 has been in short supply since it launched in November 2020.
Sign up for the opportunity to buy a PlayStation 5 and find out within 72 hours if you’ve been selected on Amazon.
Simply click “request invitation” on Amazon’s webpage listing for the PS5 – you’ll notice it’s replaced the “add to cart” button.
Amazon will email you directly if you’ve been chosen to buy.
You do not need to be an Amazon Prime member to sign up for their registry, but you do need a standard Amazon account.
Lockdowns brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic led to more people taking an interest in gaming and regular players playing more.
The PS5 also happens to be an extremely well-reviewed gaming console and there’s a buyer for every single one thats made.
The consoles that Amazon’s customers are signing up for a chance to buy is the $499.99 model with a Blu Ray disc drive.
You can also sign up for a waiting registry by setting up a PlayStation Network ID on PlayStation’s website.
