AMAZON Prime day is upon us and it’s a two-day shopping bonanza.

Following the first sale back in July, shoppers now have 48 more hours to snap up some bargains.

The two-day flash sale at the retail giant is one of the biggest shopping events of the year.

Included in the sale are dozens of products, gadgets and fashion items with knock-down prices.

It’s also the perfect time to get your Christmas presents in early.

There will be discounts available on a range of products including from brands like LEGO, Samsung, Braun and Tefal.

But with so many products to scour, it’s easy to get overwhelmed.

What is Amazon Prime Day?

Amazon Prime Day has become one of the biggest staples of the deals calendar, perhaps only matched in scope by Black Friday.

This October’s Big Deals Day is set for the 10th and 11th.

Can anyone shop?

You need to be an Amazon Prime member to get the deals.

If you’re not a member then you can sign up for a free 30-day trial, which gives you full access to the sale.

Remember to cancel before the trial ends, or you’ll be charged £8.99 a month.

Is everything a bargain?

Not necessarily, you need to always check prices using websites camelcamelcamel.com or Price Spy.

They show you whether the item has ever been cheaper before and you can set up alerts to track prices.
