According to Comparitech, users need to improve their Wi-Fi signal.

You can actually check the strength of the signal in your Fire TV settings.

Go to Settings and then click on Network.

Then, click on the Wi-Fi network you’re currently using.

You should see the signal strength quality displayed on the right.

If things are going well it should say “Very Good”.

If you see any other message you might want to move your Wi-Fi router.

Comparitech suggests moving the router or the Fire TV to try and get a clearer signal.

Make sure to keep the router away from other wireless devices.

Competing signals from different devices can slow it down.

The router also shouldn’t be surrounded by metal objects.

Your router emits radio waves and these are electromagnetic.

That means metal can absorb them and reduce the strength of your Wi-Fi.

Keep your router in a clear, open space, preferably off the ground and in line with your smart TV if that’s the main device that concerns you.
