Amazon has not official stated when deals will go live, but it is safe to expect the Boxing Day sale to begin on December 26.

It’s likely offers will run through to January, however Amazon is yet to confirm exact dates.

What Amazon Boxing Day sale deals to expect?

If early bird deals are anything to go by, we would say some of the most impressive savings will be on Amazon’s own devices.

Shoppers in the market for some new smart home accessories or streaming devices should keep an eye out come Boxing Day.

Elsewhere we expect some top brands to also feature in the discounts, with bargains on offers from Samsung, Philips, Apple, Nintendo and more.

Bargain-hunters will also likely see plenty of fashion and beauty savings too as well a discounted gift sets as the retailer sells off any remaining Christmas stock.

Here are some of the top categories to shop in the sale:

How much is Amazon delivery?

Keep in mind that you’ll also need to factor in delivery costs, unless you’re an Amazon Prime customer, in which case delivery is free.

Amazon Prime membership costs £7.99 a month, or £79 for the year.

For non-members, delivery from Amazon varies from 99p for small packages, going up to £4.49.

How to get Amazon Prime for free?

Shoppers can try out Amazon Prime membership for free using the 30-day free trial offer.

Simply head to the Amazon site and create an account if you don’t already have one.

Then head to the Amazon Prime page to click on the start your trial button.

However, it is worth noting that you can only take part in the trial if you have never signed up to Prime before.

Prime members get access to a number of perks including unlimited premium delivery, access to Prime Video and Amazon Music, Prime reading and plenty of exclusive offers and deals.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn’t mean it’s always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

Here are some that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
  • Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.
