EASTER is right around the corner now, and there’s just days to go until you could have the family piling into the dining room for a big Sunday roast.
Shops will get busy this bank holiday weekend but you can avoid crowded aisles and beat the queues by ordering your food online.

That is, if there’s still slots left at your favourite stores.
It can be hard to get a slot at busy times of the year including Easter and Christmas.
But if you can’t grab a home delivery, you might be able to book a click and collect slot.
We got in touch with the UK supermarket giants and had a look at what’s still going begging online, to find out if shoppers could still get their orders in in time.
Sainsbury’s
Aa Sainsbury’s spokesperson said: “We release slots to our groceries online customers around two weeks in advance and encourage customers to check our website for the latest availability.”
That’s not to say there aren’t some slots left – you just have to be quick to snap them up.
When we checked there were still some slots left late in the evening on Friday from around 8pm, and you could get a last minute delivery booked on Saturday afternoon too.

If you’re lucky enough to bag one in time, remember that orders under £40 will be charged £7 for standard delivery.
Meanwhile shoppers with orders over £40 could expect to pay between £1 to £4.50 to get goods dropped off at the door.
Tesco
For regular Tesco customers, delivery slots for Easter went live on March 22.
The store has reported that demand has been high this year, but there’s still a few slots available at selected stores.
When we checked most of the slots had been snapped up, but Tesco offers you the chance to chose collection instead if you’re really struggling for a delivery time.
Availability will vary depending on where you live though.
Regular home delivery costs range from £2 to £7, and click and collect slots cost up to £2.
Tha absolute last day you can order is on Saturday though, given there’s still availability.
Co-op
Unlike other supermarkets, Co-op delivery slots only become available five days in advance.
That means shoppers have been scrambling for availability since April 12, but you could still grab one now.
Orders are picked fresh in the customer’s local store for rapid same-day delivery – which is ideal for those adding any last-minute items they may have forgotten.
The minimum online spend is just £15, and delivery costs are usually £1.99.
The Sun checked online and Co-op still had slots left today, tomorrow and saturday, all the way up to 10pm, but it can vary depending on where you live.
Ocado
Ocado told The Sun that it will be business as usual over Easter.
Spaces are selling out fast though – when we checked you could order delivery slots for tomorrow afternoon pretty easily, but on Saturday the spaces start to dwindle.
Plenty of those slots were free though, even if they are limited, just get in fast if you want to avoid disappointment.
For orders under £75, there’s a minimum charge of £2.99 and a maximum of £6.99.
Waitrose
We spotted one or two slots left at Waitrose for delivery on Saturday afternoon – but there might be more where you live.
Waitrose, like others, will be closed on Easter Sunday, so won’t be delivering at all – it will resume deliveries on Easter Monday.
The minimum online spend is £40, and there’s a £3 charge for delivery.
Asda
Asda had loads of slots left when we checked.
You’re able to get a delivery from £2.50 all the way up to 11pm on Saturday at the store, but there’s nothing available on Easter Sunday.
The Easter delivery slots for Asda shoppers opened on March 31.
But slots at Asda are on a first come first served basis, until they’re gone – though the supermarket previously told us that it has more than 1million slots available each week.
A delivery pass is £6, and all shoppers have to spend a minimum of £40.
Those without a pass pay a £3 minimum charge per order.
Morrisons
Morrisons shoppers would be hard pressed NOT to find a slot left at the supermarket as it has loads of spaces left all weekend long.
The store is delivering from 5.30am right the way through to 10.30pm on Easter Sunday too.
This can vary depending on where you live though.
But the supermarket’s delivery pass holders usually get priority for delivery slots over regular shoppers.
