MILLIONS of people are looking forward to a bumper bank holiday weekend – and there are plenty of deals and freebies to take advantage of.
This weekend marks The Queen‘s 70th year on the throne, and supermarkets and fast food chains are joining in the celebrations with some mega deals.

And with many people feeling the pinch at the moment, finding a freebie or two will be more than welcome.
We’ve rounded up some of the best deals you can get this weekend for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Burger King
Burger King is offering fans a Chicken or Vegan Royale for just £1.99 this week.
The price is being slashed on one of the best-selling menu items until June 5.
The sandwich consists of crispy chicken, iceberg lettuce and creamy mayo in a toasted sesame seed bun, with a chicken substitute for the Vegan version.
You’ll need the Burger King app to get the deal though, so make sure you download it before placing your order.
Morrisons
If you’re looking to put some fizz into your celebrations, look no further than your nearest Morrisons.
The supermarket has slashed the price of its sparkling wines.

You can now pick up its Best English Sparkling Wine for £15 – down from the usual price of £25.
The fizz was awarded gold in Decanter’s World Wine Awards 2021.
The store also has a third off Denbies Wine Estate Chalk Valley Sparkling Wine, down to £10.
Frankie and Benny’s
Restaurant chain Frankie and Benny’s is honouring the Queen’s celebrations by giving out everyone’s favourite royal sweet treat.
Any diners who buy prosecco at one of its restaurants this week will get a mini Victoria sponge cake on the house.
The deal is available until June 5.
It’s also launched a limited edition cocktail to mark the occasion.
The Jubilee G&T blends Whitley Neill Special Edition Jubilee Gin, Fever Tree Rhubarb and Raspberry Tonic, and fresh raspberries. Delish!
Just Eat
If you’re putting a fast food order in this weekend, you could bag some money off using Just Eat.
Spend £10 at Greggs and you can get a free sausage roll or vegan sausage roll until June 5.
You can also get free delivery on Subway orders over £10.
Plus, if you order from any restaurants on the app with the word “Royal” in their name, you’ll get 20% off your bill using the code ROYAL20.
Lidl
Lidl is hosting a mega giveaway over the bank holiday with its Lidl Plus Jubilee prize draw.
It’s giving out more than 1,250 prizes including the top prize of £10,000 in cash.
To enter the competition, you’ll have to spend at least £30 at the discount supermarket though.
And you’ll need to scan your Lidl Plus app at the checkout to participate.
The app will then give you an entry pass, which you can submit to be in with a chance.
