Sharov is a Russian military Colonel who served as the commander of the 810th Guards Separate Order of Zhukov Brigade in the Marines. He was supposedly assassinated in Mariupol, Ukraine’s southernmost city.
He is the invasion’s fifth colonel to perish. As a result of his death, the overall number of Russian military leaders slain has risen to 15. Many publications, however, claim that the figure might be as high as 20.

Alexei’s death was also confirmed after Colonel Nikolay Ovcharenko, Commander of the 45th Engineering Regiment was killed.
Furthermore, President Zelensky stated that 100,000 people have been imprisoned in “inhumane conditions” in the city, which is besieged and subjected to continuous shelling. People are living in a complete blockade, with no food, water, or medicine, and are constantly shelled, according to him.
