ALDI’S toy shop is officially open for Christmas and a whole range of gifts and goodies are on offer.

The retailer’s online edit features almost 200 toys including Lego, Harry Potter and Peppa Pig.

There’s almost 200 toys in Aldi’s toy shop

Some of the products you’ll be able to find in-store at Aldi, and they’ll usually be waiting in the middle aisles of the supermarket to be snapped up and hidden away for Christmas.

Use Aldi’s store locator tool to find your closest before you head on down.

But a selection of toys are only available online, including Aldi’s wooden toy collection, that is even soon to feature a model version of the supermarket checkout itself.

Aldi released similar items in its toy shop in mid October last year.

If the toys are only available online they’ll be labelled with a red sticker that says “online only” on the website.

But it does mean you’ll have to factor in the extra £3.95 for delivery, especially on these items.

Aldi’s toy shop return comes at the same time as many stores announcing the dates of their own toys sales ahead of Christmas this year.

We may only be in October, but it gives shoppers the perfect opportunity to have a mooch around for the best offers, as you may find products cheaper than at Aldi.

Google shopping is a great tool to use to compare prices.

But also keep in mind that before Christmas rolls around, we have Black Friday, bringing with it another opportunity to splash out on toys at reduced prices.

In the meantime, here are some of the top picks from Aldi’s toy shop.

Hogwarts Express Soft Toy

All aboard, great savings to be had

Aldi is selling an adorable Hogwarts Express soft toy that is perfect for fans to cuddle up with no matter what age.

It’s a great collectable too, with Aldi also stocking a plush Nightbus from the series too, and a plush Harry Potter himself.

At Studio you can get a plush version of the Flying Ford Anglia from the series’ second movie for the same price.

You won’t make a saving as it’s still £20, but you can’t get this one in Aldi’s toy shop to complete your Harry potter collection.

Peppa Pig Red Car Toy

Watch Peppa Pig cruise around in Aldi’s cheap red car toy.

The classic car features a Peppa figure too.

It’s also scaled for play with other little character figures and playsets that you might already have, so the new Aldi toy can be added to your collection for continued fun.

The Entertainer is selling the same toy car for £11 so you’ll actually save £3 in Aldi’s toy shop instead.

Lego Minions Unstoppable Gru

Lego is fun for all ages

Lego is fun for all ages

Pick up a Lego set from Aldi’s toy shop, like this Minions bike chase set.

It includes 136 pieces as well as Gru, bob and Stuart figures, all designed to help develop imagination and role play skills.

Aldi’s toy shop also features Lego Star Wars and Lego Friends too.

But parents should be aware the set is a choking hazard with small parts included and should only be played with by kids aged six and up.

At Amazon you can get the exact same Lego set £1 cheaper, plus if you have a Prime account you won’t have to splash out for extra shipping either as it’s free.

Little Town Wooden Balance Bike

Part of Aldi’s wooden collection that you can buy now is this wooden balance bike, and it comes in two cute colours.

The bike is perfect for little ones learning to ride as it’s ideal for improving stability and building balance skills.

It comes with a stand too, for when you’re practicing and to easily store it upright.

At Online4Baby you can get a wooden balance bike for £38, saving you £7 compared to Aldi’s.

You’ll have to be quick though, as the site only offers deals like this for limited time periods.

Horse lovers will have to add this Barbie set to their Christmas list

If you’re little one is horse mad they’ll love this Barbie set that Aldi is selling.

The horse and pony have heads that bobble to mimic real movement and each horse has a coloured saddle, bridle and reins.

The fence pieces connect and a brush is included, perfect for grooming the animals’ manes and tails.

The same Barbie hugs and horses set is available at Smyths but it’s the same price as Aldi’s – it might be worth adding to your basket if you’re already shopping at Smyths toy store though.

Marshall’s Paw Patrol Fire Truck

Save the day with the Paw Patrol firetruck

Your little one can recreate their favourite moments from the Paw Patrol TV series with a brand new toy.

The character is moulded into the diving seat but little ones can steer them and the truck in any direction they choose.

The toy is remote controlled and can be operated from up to 76 metres away.

You can pick up a Paw Patrol figure and firetruck for only £12 at The Entertainer, saving you £5, but it’s not remote controlled.
