ALDI is selling a four seater garden sofa set in a stylish rope effect for £300.

The Gardenline set is back in stock online but shoppers will want to be quick to cash in as the Specialbuy has sold-out fast on Aldi’s site before.

The set includes two single chairs and one love-seat sofa, plus there’s a matching coffee table included too, and the buy comes complete with seat and back cushions.

It’s suitable for outdoor use so you could upgrade your garden or patio space at the bargain price.

The £299.99 sofa set was launched as an Aldi’s Specialbuy on May 30 before it sold out online, but it has now returned with more stock due to be added throughout the week too.

Aldi usually releases new Specialbuy products every Sunday and Thursday, so there’s always a chance to grab a new discount garden buy.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn’t mean it’s always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

Here are some that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
  • Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.

You can only buy the rope effect sofa set online though, so you won’t be able to save on any extra delivery costs by heading in-store as it won’t be available.

You’ll want to keep in mind that you will have to pay £9.95 on top of the £300 price tag, to get the set delivered to your door.

The sofa set has over 50 five-star reviews from when it was first launched online with shoppers happy with the price and quality of the pieces.

It could be worth shopping around before hitting the checkout button online at Aldi though, as you may find a better deal after comparing prices for similar products.

You can buy a rattan sofa set with similar qualities from The Range for only £220, which means it’s cheaper than Aldi’s by almost £80.

It’s not quite the same style though so you might have to compromise on the look, but it does still include two armed chairs a two seater sofa and a coffee table.

You can get the set delivered for free from The Range too.

B&Q has a set on offer for £260 if you’re looking for something cheaper as well.

It’s also a different design to Aldi’s as the two chairs, sofa and table are all made with a rattan effect instead, but you could save £30 with the cheaper option.

DaAl’s is selling a set that looks just like Aldi’s but it is £100 more at £400.

The St Loy natural rattan sofa set will also seat up to four people and includes a matching coffee table too.

Even though it’s 25% steeper than Aldi’s price, the set does include free delivery so you won’t have to worry about extra charges on top.

Made also has a similar looking set for £500 making it £200 more expensive than Aldi’s.

The four piece sofa set has a natural, bamboo-effect finish and metal legs but the table has a glass top in contrast to the supermarket’s version.

But you’ll have to factor in that home delivery is another whopping £50 on top.

Aldi has even slashed the prices of a selection of its Specialbuys at the moment, with huge savings on other furniture and homeware too.

The store is also selling a portable BBQ grill for £30 that folds away like a briefcase.

Plus, you can pick up a gazebo bar for £180 from the Specialbuy collection and it’s cheaper than one from The Range.
