ALDI is bringing back it’s sell-out hanging egg chair once again this weekend – but shoppers will have to be quick to bag one for themselves.

The infamous £149 egg chair will go on sale online on Sunday, April 4 as part of its Specialbuys Garden range.

It’s only being sold on Aldi’s website so you won’t be able to go into your local store to buy one.

The chair is grey and made out of rattan and comes with a grey cushion too.

It hangs from a chain attached to a metal stand, which makes it perfect for swinging.

Famous fans, including TV star Stacey Solomon and cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch, have similar hanging egg-style chairs in their gardens.

But you’ll have to act quick if you want one of your own.

It sold out within minutes when it went up for sale in February.

A “technical issue” meant the chair had accidentally been launched before 8am, and many customers missed out on their chance of buying one.

Shoppers slammed Aldi on Twitter for putting the chair up for sale earlier than advertised saying they were “really disappointed”.

Aldi hasn’t yet confirmed exactly when the egg chair will go live this Sunday, but we’ve asked for more details and we’ll update you as soon as we can.

It’s not the first time shoppers have been left furious after waiting for hours to buy the chair, only to be left empty-handed.

Last year, Aldi shoppers waited in a virtual queue of up to 40,000 people to buy one – but it sold out in hours.

Some shoppers said they were queuing for hours just after midnight, while others say they couldn’t find the infamous chair on Aldi’s website at all.

If you miss out on Aldi’s egg chair this Sunday, then other shops are selling hanging egg chairs of their own.

Dunelm is selling a hanging egg chair for £199, but it costs an extra £50 more than Aldi’s and you’ll have to fork out an extra £9.95 for delivery.

Bargain store B&M is selling one for £125, or there’s a pricier one the retailer is flogging for £175 if you want to splash out on a bigger one.

Robert Dyas, Amazon and Wayfair are also selling hanging egg chairs of their own – we’ve rounded up the cheapest ones being sold.

Stacey Solomon showed off an indoor egg chair she snapped up for £25.

Aldi’s new garden range includes the sell-out hanging egg chair, as well as other items for green-fingered shoppers.
