ALDI’S popular rattan corner sofa is back just in time for spring.

The outdoor furniture set is on sale now and shoppers can get their hands on one for their own space for less than £300.

  • Aldi cream rattan corner sofa and cover, £299.98 – buy now

Shoppers can buy the rattan sofa from the budget store for £299.98.

It’s been popular in the past, and sold out on numerous occasions before.

But the sofa has seen a steep price hike since it was last on sale.

Back in April last year, the same sofa set was just £269.95, but now that it’s back on sale shoppers will have to fork out an extra £30.03.

That means shoppers who missed out before, now have to cough up over 10% more for the same product.

It’s only available online, so you’ll have to factor in an extra £9.95 in delivery fees – and this will bring your total order to £309.93.

The outdoor seating has returned as part of the discounter’s latest Specialbuy garden range.

The sofa itself measures approximately 131cm long and comes with a stool that doubles up as a table, as well as a fitted cover.

That cover is designed to be completely weather proof so you can introduce the new piece to your garden furniture collection even as April showers are on their way.

The rattan sofa is available in three different colours too, meaning shoppers get to choose from grey, cream and anthracite.

But the most hard-core of Aldi fans have already managed to snap up all the available stock of two of the colour options.

That leaves potential buyers limited to just the cream option for now.

If you’re after this one you will still have to be quick though, as the final colour option could go just as fast as the others.

If Aldi’s popular egg chairs are anything to go by, the sofa could also sell-out in record time.

Shoppers queued in their thousands earlier in the month to buy the last high-profile Specialbuy – and many were left disappointed when the outdoor furniture item sold out in a matter of hours.

You can still order the sofa for now, but it won’t be dispatched until March 27 – after that date it could take another week to arrive at your front door too.

It’s always worth a shop around before you splurge as well, another store might have a cheaper alternative that you could cash-in on instead.

When we checked, Very had slashed the price of its own version of the sofa from £379.99 to £284.99 – making it £14.99 cheaper than Aldi’s style.

Meanwhile, a similar style rattan sofa is only £229 to buy from online store, Home Detail – a whopping £70.98 cheaper than Aldi’s.
