The drink has already sparked chaotic scenes in stores as they were delivered to Sainsbury’s and Asda in previous weeks – selling out in just minutes.

Aldi previously stocked the £1.99 viral drink – and saw massive queues to buy the popular product.

Prime stock is set to return to Aldi stores in just a few days.

Prime Tracker posted on Twitter: “It’s good to be back! Aldi stores have started receiving their allocations!

“Stores are also under the impression that the release is on Sunday, not the 20th. We’ll keep you updated on this!”

Last year, shoppers dashed to their nearest Aldi in order to pick up the new Prime sports drinks.

But with this many people queuing the drinks may be out of stock by the time you get there.

It might be worth phoning ahead to check stock to avoid disappointment.

Fans were quick to take to the comments section to share their excitement.

One commented: “Oooh at last.”

A second added: “I have all the primes but gonna go buy more.”

A third chimed in: “Only ones I haven’t tried are the meta moon and orange.”

Marketed as a sport drink, to “help you refresh, replenish, and refuel”, it contains B vitaminselectrolytes and coconut water.

Invented by YouTubers KSI and Logan Paul, it was released in June last year and still has thousands of kids — or their parents — scrambling to snap up any of its eight flavours.

Even celebrities are using their star power to try to shortcut the queues, with Wayne Rooney pestering KSI for a bottle for son Kit’s seventh birthday in January and Stacey Solomon getting in touch to say she couldn’t find any on the supermarket shelves.

This led to many sellers cashing in with sky-high prices.

One off-licence in Wakefield, West Yorks, was reportedly flogging the drink for £100 a bottle.

And on eBay, it is being sold there at price tags often well over its supermarket price tag of £2.

But the drink’s popularity has meant it’s been in short supply in some places.

One mum was left fuming after she rushed to Sainsbury’s to buy Prime only to find the shelves empty.

Shoppers in Maidstone, Kent, were also desperate to get their hands on a bottle and queued outside in the dark.

And some desperate parents have even travelled more than 500 miles just to get their hands on a bottle.

After all, the craze is growing, with one savvy punter selling a “rare” bottle for a whopping £1,000.

One pub owner is accepting the drinks as payments in hopes the product’s price will soar once supply dries out.
